India now planning for biometric authentication with Fingerprint, Iris and Face recognition method with Aadhaar Validation for remote voters

In an attempt to enhance the remote voting process and conclusively identify migrant voters, the Election Commission (EC) of India has proposed using Aadhaar biometric identification through iris and fingerprints, face recognition technology with in-built liveliness testing, and voice biometric identification.

Three different biometric identification methods are proposed, one with authentication with Aadhaar biometrics like fingerprints and iris scans, one is for face recognition with active liveness detection, and therefore the all three would use as a biometric modality.
